Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist based in Phoenix, AZ, covering Arizona, New Mexico, El Paso, TX, and Las Vegas, NV. You will protect installed base, drive consumables sales, and develop annual plans to hit territory objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in sales, strong product knowledge, and ability to manage multiple tasks. SFDC experience and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
• Excellent negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Vehicle license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of and adhere to GMP/ISO 9001 processes and procedures; comply with employment laws and policies.
• Meet or exceed yearly region revenue and profit quotas within budget.
• Collaborate with team to share leads, protect installed base, develop new business.
• Conduct scheduled personalized product demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff.
• Maintain territory records to plan and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and staff on product operation and application.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management on activity.
• Manage cost center to control sales, expenses, inventory, and AR.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and pipeline updates.
• Develop synergy opportunities with Zeiss companies and partners.
• Create marketing approaches tailored to regional demands.
• Submit all paperwork promptly.
