Job summary

ZEISS Group in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist who thrives on medical sales, protects installed bases, and grows consumable and liquids business across assigned accounts.

You will develop annual plans, forecast monthly pipelines, and deliver demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff while coordinating with field service and corporate teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent is required.
• Five or more years of sales experience in a relevant field.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy across MS Office and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management.
• Must have a valid driver's license to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance with GMP and ISO 9001 standards and related procedures.
• Meet or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing expenses.
• Collaborate with team to share leads, protect installed base, and develop new business.
• Conduct scheduled demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff across the region.
• Maintain territory records and organize plans to measure results.
• Educate customers on operation, utilization, and applications of our products.
• Provide timely written and verbal updates to management on activity and forecasts.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and opportunities data.
• Develop synergies with Zeiss entities and partners when opportunities arise.
• Create marketing approaches tailored to regional demand and ensure timely paperwork.
