Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist to protect our installed base and drive consumables sales.

You will develop annual business plans, manage a regional pipeline, and forecast monthly activity while collaborating with surgeons, OR staff, and administration in the Nashville/Birmingham area. You will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, negotiate effectively, and maintain SFDC records.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Five+ years of sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP/ISO 9001 processes and adhere to applicable laws.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue and profit quotas while managing expenses.
• Work in a team to share leads, protect installed base, and drive new consumables sales.
• Deliver scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff.
• Maintain territory records to organize and measure results.
• Educate customers on operation and application of products to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management about planned activity and sales.
• Maintain SFDC dashboards and updates for opportunities and leads.
• Develop synergy opportunities with other Zeiss entities and partners.
