Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. in Nashville, TN or Birmingham, AL is seeking a Senior Posterior Consumable Specialist to protect the installed base of equipment and consumables and to generate new business in consumables/liquids sales.

You will develop annual business plans, forecast monthly consumable pipeline, and strive to achieve territory revenue targets while maintaining strong clinical and technical knowledge and high business ethics.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Five plus (5+) years' sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of and adhere to GMP/ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for region while managing expenses.
• Collaborate with team to ensure lead sharing, installed base protection and account development.
• Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, OR staff, and administration.
• Maintain territory records and analyze data to plan and measure results.
• Educate and follow up with surgeons and staff on operation and application of our product.
• Provide timely communications to management on sales activity and manage cost center.
• Maintain SFDC reports and dashboards for opportunities, leads and funnel.
• Develop synergy opportunities with other Zeiss entities and partners.
