Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join the Core Support team. The role will primarily support WMS, ERP (Profit21/P21), and CRM systems, serving as a shared resource across support functions.

Emphasis on SQL scripting, application troubleshooting, and Tier 2 tickets with growth toward Tier 3, while understanding .NET Core and middleware. Shift flexibility required for ramp-up and remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Technical Support, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including advanced Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications in production environments.
• Experience with API debugging tools such as Postman or Fiddler.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong incident management, diagnostic, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Core Support team across WMS, ERP (Profit21/P21), CRM and other business applications.
• Serve as a shared resource across support functions with a path toward Tier 3.
• Troubleshoot complex Tier 2 issues and write/update SQL scripts for WMS/P21 environments.
• Understand application architecture including .NET Core, middleware, and APIs (not hands-on development).
