Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership in contract or project management
• Experience leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large buildings
• Knowledge of HVAC sequences and P&IDs
• Building automation or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Accountable for contract margin and steps to improve financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for support tasks and monitor progress toward completion.
• Forecast resources for contracts and monitor utilization.
• Review potential risks and mitigation strategies.
• Present Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional leadership.
• Handle financials including Contract Financial Reporting and cash flow.
• Process Monthly Invoicing and draft Change Orders.
• Enforce quality plans and monitor quality throughout contract.
• Serve as primary commercial contact for customers.
• Manage large or multiple concurrent contracts.
• Identify causes of deviations from the plan and recommend actions.
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to support team when needed.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
• Contribute to tools that aid contract management.
• Demonstrate strong communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for contract margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for support tasks and carefully monitors progress towards completion.
• Accurately forecasting resources of their contracts.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Support Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.

• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience – contract/project management or technical lead
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Microsoft Project
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.
