Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking a Support Contract Manager to lead a team of specialists and engineers in managing customer support contracts from inception to completion. The role requires strong financial, scheduling, and leadership skills to maintain contract health.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC systems knowledge, experience with building automation controls, and a track record of negotiating terms with customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in contract or project management.
• Experience organizing and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• HVAC knowledge in large building automation systems.
• Understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC.
• Instrumentation and control valves knowledge for HVAC systems.
• Building automation/industrial controls experience is a plus.
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.

Overview

RoviSys Building Technologies is looking for a Support Contract Manager for our growing Building Automation team. SCMs must have the ability to manage customer support contracts from inception to completion, while leading a team of support specialists and engineers at a high level. Experience with financials, reporting, invoicing, procurement, drafting change orders, and coordination with customers.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for contract margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for support tasks and carefully monitors progress towards completion.
• Accurately forecasting resources of their contracts.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Support Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Responsible for financials including but not limited to:
  • Contract Financial Reporting
    • Cost projections/cash flow reporting
  • Monthly Invoicing
  • Quantify and draft change orders
• Enforces quality plans and monitors work for quality throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Serves as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Manages large support agreements and/or multiple concurrent contracts.
• Determine causes of deviations from the support plan or schedule and the recommended corrective actions.
• Capable of negotiating Terms & Conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to support team when required.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
• Contributes to development of tools that facilitate contract management.
• Demonstrates excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to balance contract finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience – contract/project management or technical lead
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Microsoft Project
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.
