Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in contract/project management or technical lead.
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus.
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for contract margins and steps to improve financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for support tasks and monitor progress toward completion.
• Forecast resources for contracts.
• Review potential risks and mitigation strategies.
• Present Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Manage financials including contract reporting, monthly invoicing, and change orders.
• Enforce quality plans and monitor quality throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Serve as primary commercial contact for customers.
• Manage large or multiple concurrent contracts.
• Identify causes of deviations from the plan and recommend corrective actions.
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to the support team.
• Enforce engineering standards.
• Contribute to development of contract management tools.
• Demonstrate strong communication, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Balance contract finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities
