Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier qualification, audits, PPAP, and corrective actions across the ELSP NAM hub in the US. The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires deep experience with supplier quality processes, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Travel up to 50% is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years in Supplier Quality with hands-on issue ownership.
• Lean Six Sigma or ASQ CQE/CQA certification a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Supplier Qualification and Assessments, audits and non-conformances.
• Drive PPAP readiness and supplier product surveillance at sites.
• Lead resolution of quality issues, delivery problems, and project services.
• Develop and drive Supplier Quality Wins integration across ELSP NAM hub.
• Maintain Supplier Quality metrics and utilize Supplier360 reports.
