ABB in the United States seeks an experienced Quality Leader for the Electrification Smart Power division in North America. You will collaborate with customers, factories, engineering, operations and executives to drive quality objectives and business goals from a remote base.

You will lead customer quality initiatives, analyze complaints, manage metrics, and mentor teams while traveling up to 30%. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, compliance with QMS, and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in electrical distribution or power systems.
• Experience in Customer Quality Management and complaint resolution.
• Proficient in RCA and CAPA processes.
• Experience with FMEA, continuous improvement and risk management.
• Skills in KPI development and reporting.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Proven customer relationship management.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer quality initiatives and act as primary quality contact for key customers.
• Investigate customer complaints and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Manage quality performance metrics and customer scorecards.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with customer and quality management system requirements.
• Drive quality improvements across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.
• Support audits, customer visits, and quality reviews.
• Mentor quality teams and promote a customer-focused quality culture.
