Job summary

ABB is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality leader to manage on-site and off-site supplier qualification, PPAP approvals, and Quality Wins initiatives across the ELSP NAM hub. You will drive KPI-based performance, coordinate audits, and lead cross-functional teams with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve complex quality issues.

The role requires 10+ years in supplier quality, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or related roles.
Lean Six Sigma or ASQ certifications (CQE/CQA) are a plus.
Strong ability to map workflows, standardize processes and drive adoption.
Working knowledge of supplier qualification and audits, PPAP, and structured problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC).
Hands-on, data-driven approach using KPIs and scorecards.

Responsibilities

Supplier qualification and assessment, audits, and non-conformance closure.
PPAP execution and supplier part/material approvals across the hub.
Lead supplier quality incidents, containment and corrective actions with KPI tracking.
Develop and drive Supplier Quality Wins integration and training at suppliers.
Maintain Supplier Quality metrics and utilize Supplier360 for reporting and monitoring.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues.
