The position requires DoD/USG contracting experience, ERP proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to support proposals and quarterly business reviews. Based in New York with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience or MBA/MS/JD degree with 8+ years
• Experience with U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts
• Understanding of procurement processes: sourcing, supplier qualification, PO placement, tracking OT deliveries, expediting
• Experience navigating ERP systems
• Analytical thinking and problem solving with sound judgement and creativity

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic management of suppliers and their material deliveries
• Coordinate weekly telecoms to review purchase orders, material schedules, and anticipated deliveries
• Track, maintain, and report metrics on supplier on-time delivery and risk
• Develop, track, and update material forecasts affecting revenue recognition
• Provide weekly updates to Supply Chain leadership on milestones and risks
• Lead or participate in efforts to provide material cost and labor inputs for proposals
• Lead QBRs with critical suppliers covering quality, cost, and deliveries
• Resolve technical and programmatic supplier issues; assist with metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
