Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering - Wiring Assemblies to lead a team driving supplier capability and readiness for current and future business needs. This hybrid role can be located at multiple Eaton facilities in the United States.

You will guide supplier development strategies, strengthen manufacturing excellence, and collaborate with Quality, Procurement, and Engineering to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supplier Development Engineers to build supplier capability and readiness for wiring assemblies.
• Drive supplier performance improvements via development strategies for manufacturing excellence and growth.
• Partner across functions to ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and growth objectives.
• Develop governance, metrics, and best practices across the supplier network.
• Establish supplier capability assessments, risk mitigation, and readiness initiatives.
• Lead capacity, scalability, and readiness for forecasted demand and localization.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and industrialization with supplier readiness throughout product development.
• Align priorities with procurement, operations, and leadership.
