Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering - Wiring Assemblies to lead a team focused on developing supplier manufacturing capability and readiness for wiring assemblies.

You will drive performance improvements and partner with Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain and Engineering to meet quality, delivery, cost and growth goals, while establishing governance across the supplier network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in supplier development, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier development strategy to improve capability and readiness.
• Lead and coach Supplier Development Engineers and succession planning.
• Oversee risk assessments and mitigation plans for suppliers.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and process capability improvements.
• Manage capacity readiness for forecasted demand and new product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, delivery, cost targets.
