Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manager of Supplier Development Engineering for Wiring Assemblies in the Corporate Sector. The role leads a team focused on developing supplier capability, readiness, and performance across a global supplier network.

You will drive lean, Six Sigma, and advanced quality initiatives, partner with cross‑functional teams, and ensure readiness for new product introductions and capacity expansions. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, operational, and capacity risk assessments.
• Drive supplier manufacturing excellence initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced quality tools.
• Lead assessment and management of supplier production capacity, scalability, and readiness.
• Ensure suppliers are prepared for new product launches and capacity expansions.
• Establish processes and standards for supplier capability assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier readiness throughout development and launch.
• Align supplier development priorities with business objectives with leadership.
• Establish KPIs for supplier development activities and governance.
• Promote standardization and continuous improvement across the supplier network.
