The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Superintendent with proven self-perform concrete experience on commercial/industrial projects, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Local market familiarity is a plus.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction
- Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial/industrial projects
- Strong leadership to manage diverse teams of workers/subcontractors
- Excellent project planning and execution skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Problem-solving mindset under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred
- Certifications in construction safety and related areas are a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases from planning to completion
- Coordinate and supervise construction processes
- Ensure activities align with project plan
- Lead a team of workers and subcontractors
- Enforce safety protocols and quality standards
- Interact with clients and explain plans and contract terms
- Schedule and coordinate workers, subs, and materials
