Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to join its construction team, focusing on large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including data centers and heavy site work.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Superintendent, a proven self-perform concrete background, and strong leadership and planning skills to oversee teams, safety, quality and schedule for projects in Sandusky, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in construction.
• Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong leadership to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety or related areas are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project from planning to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from development to final build.
• Ensuring activities align with the project plan and schedule.
• Managing and leading a team of workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting plans and contract terms for staff and contractors.
• Scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, and materials.
