Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and industrial projects, with a strong emphasis on concrete self-perform capabilities. You will plan, coordinate, and execute from start to finish on data centers, manufacturing sites and shell projects.

Responsibilities include managing crews and subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring schedule adherence while maintaining clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven self-perform experience with concrete on commercial and/or industrial projects is a must.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Strong project planning and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in construction safety and other relevant areas will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction.
• Ensuring that all construction activities are in alignment with the project plan.
• Managing and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting and explaining plans and contract terms to involved staff and contractors.
• Scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, and materials supplies.
