Zusammenfassung

Leidos is seeking a Substation Senior Structural Engineer with 5+ years’ utility experience to lead design reviews and project teams for substation structures and foundations. You will work on bid/construction packages, mentor juniors, and ensure design compliance with industry standards.

Occasional travel to client sites and events is expected. The role requires a BS/MS in Civil-Structural Engineering, a PE license, and proficiency in structural software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA 3D, LPile)

Qualifikationen

BS in Civil-Structural Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 3+ years.
PE license required.
SE licensure preferred.
Experience with design and review of structures and foundations to industry codes under seismic loading.
Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and MATHCAD.

Aufgaben

Lead senior design teams and project reviews for substation structures and foundations.
Perform design reviews of civil/structural components for bid/construction packages.
Develop junior staff and mentor team members.
Travel to client sites and industry events as needed.
