• Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience.
• 15+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to visualize equipment details and clearance requirements.
• Strong multi-tasking and field data collection skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and coordinates design deliverables for compliance with specifications.
• Leads field walkdowns with clients and gathers data at facilities.
• Provides guidance on codes and standards and participates in quality system improvements.
• Mentors designers, drafters and project stakeholders in design tools.
• Oversees production of design deliverables and input calculations.
