Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. You will create project definitions, schedules, and budgets, manage costs and profitability, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities include leading change management, ensuring timely billings, reviewing subcontractor invoices, and mentoring less experienced staff. Travel 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Manages changes using change management procedures.
• Communicates deadlines and objectives to project teams.
• Prepares overall project schedules and budgets by group responsibility.
• Coordinates submittals and ensures completion of work per schedule.
