Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation EPC Program Lead to lead the substation scope within large multidisciplinary EPC infrastructure programs, coordinating with contractors and HDR staff to ensure technical delivery and alignment with client goals.

You will advise clients on design, permitting, outages, protection and control, and oversee site development, procurement strategy, and construction support, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with MS Office, estimating and scheduling software.
• Ability to interact with design teams and strong communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead the substation scope within large EPC infrastructure programs.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, and execution aspects of substation development.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all substation scope execution with EPC partners.
• Coordinate site development, engineering, permitting, and equipment strategy.
• Oversee design and construction activities to meet QA/QC expectations.
• Mentor and develop HDR staff and subconsultants.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders for permitting and approvals.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget; support change management.
• Travel as required.
