Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced engineer with a PE license to lead technical delivery on multiple power projects across sites. You will partner with Project Managers on scope, schedules, and budgets while mentoring junior staff and shaping internal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience used in daily work.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops a partnership with Project Managers; the PMs handle scope, schedules, budgets and client management, while the EM leads technical execution.
• Collaborates with the technical leadership team to develop processes for quality control, technical expertise, and project delivery.
• Develops internal trainings, mentorship plans, and technical development plans for junior staff.
• Creates and implements a project execution plan for the technical aspects of projects.
• Assigns tasks and provides technical guidance to project teams.
• Supports scope, schedule, and budget including proposal development and risk management.
• Performs quality checks/reviews per HDR QMS requirements to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
• Mentors one or more Project Engineers, EITs, or CADD/Designers; may supervise others.
• Leads multiple projects concurrently across different locations.
• Works with senior engineers to identify technical expertise and participates in ongoing training.
• Assists with developing technical papers or presentations for HDR at conferences or events.
• Participates in project reviews as needed.
