Job summary

HDR, an employee-owned firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager in the Seattle area to lead technical delivery on Power Delivery projects, ensuring project scope, schedules, and budgets meet client needs.

You will mentor engineers, develop execution plans, and advance HDR’s quality systems while supporting trainings and industry presentations. HDR offers a collaborative, employee-owned culture with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develops a partnership with Project Managers to align scope, schedules, budgets, and client management with technical execution of projects.
• Works with technical leadership to develop and enforce processes for quality control, technical expertise, and project delivery.
• Develops internal trainings and mentorship plans for junior staff and local/national leadership.
• Develops and implements a project execution plan for the technical aspects of projects.
• Assigns tasks and provides technical guidance to project team members.
• Supports scope, schedule, budget, proposal development, WBS, progress/risk/change management.
