Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Substation Project Engineer to join our Seattle area team. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design effort and lead technical sessions at project sites, alongside a Project Manager, to ensure on-time delivery.

Preferred candidates hold a PE license and 10+ years in substation design within the Power sector, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Aspen, ETAP and related tools. HDR values inclusion and collaborative ownership in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license required.
• 10+ years of experience in substation design and power projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and power-system software required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design engineers within a multidiscipline team through the project lifecycle.
• Establish client relations and participate in meetings across marketing, design and production.
• Lead technical effort and mentor staff on project execution and code compliance.
