Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer/Manager to lead multiple power delivery projects across locations including Phoenix, Portland, and beyond. You will partner with Project Managers and senior technical leaders to ensure successful technical execution and delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 7+ years related experience, and a minimum of 2 years in project management; PE license highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develops a partnership with Project Managers, PMs handle scope/schedules/budgets; EM handles technical execution.
• Develops and implements processes for quality control and project delivery.
• Develops internal trainings and mentorship plans for junior staff.
• Develops and implements a project execution plan for the technical aspect of projects.
• Assigns tasks and provides technical guidance to project team members.
• Supports scope, schedule, budget; including proposal development and risk assessment.
• Performs quality checks per HDR QMS requirements for a world-class product.
