GFT is seeking experienced Mid to Senior Substation Engineers to join our Power Group. You will lead or support utility substation projects, developing layouts, power systems, and control building designs for clients across multiple locations. Hybrid work is available, with remote options for qualified candidates.

The role emphasizes delivering reliable, sustainable energy infrastructure, collaborating across offices, and mentoring engineering staff while driving quality and client relations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years progressive experience in design, engineering, and project management in power/utility.
• Professional Engineer license or path to licensure.

Aufgaben

• Develop substation layouts, plan/elevations, grounding, raceways, and equipment lists for new and existing substations.
• Create one-lines, three-lines, DC/AC power systems, SCADA, and relay panel layouts; prepare wiring and cable schedules.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and equipment specifications for substation projects.
• Manage technical, financial, and scheduling aspects; act as project/client/capture manager as needed.
• Mentor staff and collaborate across offices to pursue regional and national projects.
