GFT is seeking experienced Substation Engineers to join our Power Group in a hybrid role across U.S. locations, with remote option for the right candidate.

You will lead or support substation projects from 34.5kV to 500kV, developing layouts, schematics, and specifications while building strong client relationships. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a PE license or path to licensure, and 4+ years in power/utility design and project management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license or on path to licensure.
• 4+ years in design, engineering and project management in power/utility.
• Experience in consulting engineering preferred.
• Proficient with project management tools (MS Project or similar).

Aufgaben

• Lead or support utility and power substation projects and clients.
• Develop substation layouts including plan/elevations, grounding, raceways and cable lists.
• Develop substation one lines, SCADA and communications systems, relay layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare calculations and reports presenting calculations to clients.
• Prepare equipment specifications for substation equipment and construction.
• Collaborate regionally and nationally to increase Gannett Fleming presence in power delivery.
• Develop and nurture client relationships across multiple disciplines.
• Assist in proposals, bids, reports and presentations.
