Sargent & Lundy in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead MV power system design and project management in a hybrid office/remote setup. You will drive conceptualization, planning, and execution across client projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in MV design, BS in Engineering, strong communication, and experience reviewing drawings. A relocation package is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 7+ years in design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects within budget and schedule.
• Experience tracking project information, including schedules and expenditures.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience reviewing design drawings created by others.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project conceptualization, planning, and execution in a team setting.
• Tackle challenging electrical engineering issues and provide solutions.
• Prepare clear reports for clients in SL formats.
• Share knowledge through Communities of Practice to grow skills.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
