WSP USA is seeking a Substation Senior Project Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to lead electrical engineering for substation designs, HV/MV systems, protection and control, and SCADA integration. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Power Systems focus preferred.
- 12+ years in electrical engineering, substation design, and infrastructure development.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License; multi-state preferred.
- Experience with IEEE, NEC, NESC, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for electrical engineering discipline including substation design, HV/MV systems, P&C, SCADA/automation, and power delivery.
- Review permit applications, one-line/three-line diagrams, protection schemes and grounding plans for compliance.
- Lead large-scale substation projects (greenfield/brownfield AIS/GIS); manage scope, schedule, budgets, and EPC teams.
- Drive business development and project execution for electrical infrastructure and grid modernization.
- Lead client presentations, technical proposals, and risk assessments.
