Job summary

WSP is seeking a High Voltage Power Systems Engineer in Fort Worth, TX, to join the ESSP team. You will perform electrical studies, SCADA, and protection work for power facilities including generation, substations, and transmission systems.

The role requires a BSEE/BSEET/BSCE from an ABET-accredited program and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Occasional travel and strong collaboration skills are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of design or device configuration experience in power systems.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and project work.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Occasional travel may be required to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies, SCADA, and protection tasks.
• Produce technical reports and documentation with calculations and sketches.
• Assist with risk identification, design concepts, and project planning.
• Travel to project sites to support field/work and commissioning.
