Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking a Substation Electrical Manager to lead design, project execution, and client engagement for North America Power Delivery & Renewable projects.

The role blends technical leadership with proposal and business development responsibilities, requiring coordination across engineering teams and external stakeholders. The position emphasizes hands-on substation design, mentoring, and collaboration with multiple Arcadis groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
• Minimum 10 years of direct Substation Electrical engineering & design experience in Power and Utility industry.
• Experience with substation physical layouts, bus configurations, grounding, and HV/EHV design & studies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SKM/ETAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, or similar engineering software.
• Design experience adhering to NEC, NESC, IEEE codes and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in substation design across all project stages from concept to construction.
• Coordinate design activities with other engineering disciplines to maintain schedules.
• Lead preparation of project estimates, engineering estimates, proposals, and client engagement.
• Manage and grow the Substation Electrical team and perform quality reviews.
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Account Manager and Technical Lead.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in client meetings to support business development.
