Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks a Supervising Engineer to lead detailed design of high voltage substation projects. You will manage engineers, designers and staff to deliver on time, within budget, and compliant with standards. A degree in electrical engineering and a P.E.

license are required, with extensive HV substation experience. Travel up to 10–15% may be necessary. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with clients and internal teams, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the electric utility industry or EPC with HV substation design.
• P.E. license is required.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor documentation and coordinate with internal Sourcing Team.
• Support proposal team including BOM preparation and single line diagrams.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical interfaces.
• Plan and perform design reviews with teams and report technical risks to management.
• Review Inspection and Test plans and attend FAT for major electrical equipment.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions with PM support.
• Answer technical site questions and review non-conformance reports from engineering viewpoint.
• Travel up to 10–15% as needed.
