Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Supervising Engineer to oversee the detailed design of high voltage substation projects. You will lead a team of engineers, designers and support staff to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate will hold an Electrical Engineering degree (ABET) with a P.E. license and proven experience in electric utility substation design, NEC/NESC/IEEE standards, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET) or higher.
• P.E. license required.
• 7+ years in electric utility industry for high voltage substation design.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivery of complex projects on time and budget.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, including design and construction support.
• Supervise engineers, designers and support staff; provide training and evaluations.
• Oversee preparation of designs, specifications and plans for high voltage substations.
• Develop and manage project budgets and monitor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards; implement quality control.
