Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to lead high-dollar procurements with critical suppliers, manage Statements of Work (SOWs) through Engineering Technical Review, and drive final review while navigating FAR and DFARS requirements.

This role may be remote or on-site and supports multiple U.S. locations. Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and cost assessment are essential to ensure regulatory compliance and favorable terms; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or an MBA/MS/JD with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with USG, DoD, or FAA contracts and knowledge of Government and commercial contracting methods.
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through ETR release.
• Advanced purchasing experience and procurement in ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving with sound judgment.
• Financial acumen with cost reasonableness assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
• Create and manage SOWs and drive them through ETR release.
• Issue RFI/RFQ packages and ensure complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses to ensure customer requirements compliance (FAR, DFARS, FAA, international standards).
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Execute Subcontracts, NDAs, long-term agreements, and related documents.
• Maintain legal records in accordance with U.S. Government purchasing standards.
• Support proposal costing for subcontract material and labor.
• Support multiple sites, including international coordination.
• Manage supplier performance and lead Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Assist with metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
