Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline.
• At least six years of full-time related experience, with two years in supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of the FAR and federal procurement rules.
• Experience with cost/price analysis, negotiations, and drafting contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and contractual agreements for Brookhaven National Laboratory.
• Lead a staff of purchasing and subcontracts professionals with technical oversight.
• Develop, negotiate, award, and manage large high-dollar, complex contracts.
• Plan procurement, solicit quotes, evaluate proposals, and manage sourcing.
• Negotiate Blanket Ordering Agreements and various service/lease contracts.
• Ensure compliance with DOE, FAR, and Lab regulations; monitor contract progress.
