Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a business field with ten years direct procurement experience.
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DEAR.
• Advanced understanding of procurement with cross-functional interaction.
• Ability to resolve complex problems in procurements.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to lead small teams or projects.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on high-dollar/risk procurements with minimal oversight.
• Provide procurement leadership to meet technical, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and justify sources/prices.
• Document procurement files and perform contracts administration as needed.
• Support and adhere to small-business and socio-economic plan requirements.
• Resolve complex procurement problems using precedents and policy.
• Develop and implement internal procedures and lead teams.
• Handle procurements up to approximately $1.5M with signature authority.
• Commit to safety, ethics, and accountability in operations.
