Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Senior Manager, Subcontracts Mgmt to lead its Subcontract Management organization, ensuring supplier performance in cost, schedule and technical outcomes. This role partners with Supply Chain Management to develop policies, procedures, and best practices.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating subcontract terms, managing bid analyses, change control, and coordinating with Finance, Legal and other AV departments to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required or equivalent.
• 10+ years' DoD/commercial subcontract experience.
• 5+ years in a team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of contract types and DFARS/FAR/ITAR.
• Experience with price/cost analysis and negotiations.
• Proficient with MS Office; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain subcontract specs, including SOWs and terms.
• Lead bid analysis, negotiations, and subcontract awards and administration.
• Monitor performance to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and ITAR compliance teams.
• Manage subcontract change processes and risk mitigation.
• Serve as focal point for all contractual communications.
