Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to prepare RFP packages, analyze proposals, conduct bidder meetings, and negotiate subcontract provisions. The role handles post-award subcontracts, closeouts, and coordination with project teams across the US.

The position is traveling, up to 90% of the time, with per diem and mobilization support. You may be placed on projects nationwide, spending 8-18 months per project, with one longer weekend every four weeks for time at home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in contract management or related field required.
• 0-3 years of subcontracting or procurement experience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontracting strategies and plans.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontracts (FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus).
• Manage high-volume subcontract proposals and competitive pricing.
• Coordinate NDA, contractor sourcing, pricing requests, and awards.
• Ensure subcontracts are closed out timely and audit-ready.
