Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks a subcontract administrator to draft, issue and manage project subcontracts from approved requisitions. You will collaborate with Commercial Services, Legal and Operations to capture terms, conditions and exhibits, ensuring data accuracy in ERP and project platforms.

Remote or office-based in Fargo, Indianapolis, or Phoenix, with up to 10% travel. You will negotiate terms, ensure compliance with master agreements, and support project closeout while maintaining safety and data

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, paralegal, construction management or related field preferred
• Three to five years of experience in procurement, supply chain or business-related field in the construction industry
• Experience using Procore for construction/EPC industry and/or supply chain preferred

Responsibilities

• Create subcontract agreements with necessary exhibits, attachments, terms and conditions from approved requisitions on projects as assigned
• Verify requisition data and clarify items with requisitioners, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Create contracts with minimal guidance
• Utilize company master agreements in contract creation
• Recognize deviations and assist with subcontractor negotiation and escalation
• Coordinate with Commercial Services, Legal, Permitting, and Insurance to ensure subcontractor requirements are captured
• Adhere to guidelines on subcontract creation and approvals
• Track work and change orders through approval and execution stages for invoicing
• Assist in creating and analyzing data related to KPIs
• Enter and maintain data in ERP and project management platforms
• Communicate subcontract information to accounting for payables
• Support project closeout
• Other duties as assigned
