Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team, with a hybrid work arrangement from Herndon, VA or remote from anywhere in the U.S.

You will lead subcontract negotiations and manage major subcontracts, coordinating pricing, terms, and delivery to ensure lowest risk and high performance for Serco and its clients. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, and at least 8 years of experience in a federal contracting

Qualifications

• Must have US citizenship and experience with federal contracting.
• Experience with US government procurement, preferably with a peer prime contractor assisting large labor subcontracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a project team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations on price, terms, and delivery with a program team.
• Develop competitive and sole-source RFPs for federal services and products of medium to high complexity.
• Ensure subcontract awards meet pricing, terms, and delivery schedules and are properly documented.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable types, in compliance with standards.
• Provide effective subcontractor management and escalate performance issues promptly.
