McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Managing Engineer to lead water resources projects, including dams, hydropower, and flood control. You will manage client relationships, coordinate multi‑discipline teams, and deliver detailed designs from planning through construction.

A strong civil/structural background and PE licensure are required, with a master’s preferred. The role focuses on complex projects in the dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure markets across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in civil or hydraulic engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams.
• Regular, predictable attendance and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships; participate in workshops and meetings.
• Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and coordinate with leaders on marketing efforts.
• Lead multi-discipline teams on water resources projects; monitor progress and risks.
• Develop detailed designs and specifications for infrastructure projects including stormwater systems.
• Prepare planning reports, plans, and cost estimates for water projects.
• Manage planning, design, and construction support services for water infrastructure.
