Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Managing Engineer to lead complex water resources projects, including dams, hydropower, fish passage, and treatment facilities. You will manage client relationships, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, and drive design through feasibility to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University.
• 18+ years of experience in civil, and/or hydraulic engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration required (California PE registration strongly preferred).
• Experience with water resource infrastructure including fishery projects and water treatment.
• Familiarity with federal agency codes (FERC, USACE, USBR).

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships with key clients and conferences.
• Identify project opportunities, pursue opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Lead multi-discipline teams on water resources projects and tasks.
• Monitor project performance and manage scope, schedule, and costs.
• Prepare planning reports, plans and cost estimates for water infrastructure projects.
• Design storm water systems and drainage plans for water quality/quantity.
• Oversee design and construction support for water and wastewater projects.
