Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 18+ years of experience in civil, and/or hydraulic engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration is required (California PE registration strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with water resource infrastructure including fishery related projects, water conveyance, storm water networks, heavy grading, water treatment, wastewater treatment and pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships and participate in professional service organizations and conferences.
• Identify project opportunities, pursue opportunities, and prepare proposals; plan strategies for water resource needs.
• Conduct kick-off meetings with key stakeholders and manage project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Identify risks and constraints and document them for project planning.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and monitor project performance using appropriate tools.
• Lead design, planning, and construction support for water, recycled water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Design storm water management systems and drainage plans; prepare plans and cost estimates.
