Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Managing Engineer with a strong technical background to lead diverse water resources projects, including dams, fisheries, hydropower, and water treatment facilities.

You will manage multi‑discipline teams and develop client relationships, while guiding projects from feasibility to commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural engineering degree (Master’s preferred), 18+ years of experience, and a PE license (CA registration strongly

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
Master’s degree preferred.
18+ years of experience in civil and/or hydraulic engineering.
Professional Engineering registration is required; California PE registration strongly preferred.
Experience with water resource infrastructure including fishery projects, water conveyance, and stormwater networks.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships; engage in proposals and marketing efforts.
Lead multi‑discipline teams on water resources projects; monitor performance and risk.
Prepare detailed designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water infrastructure.
Oversee planning, design, and construction support for water, recycled water, and wastewater systems.
