Blue Origin LLC seeks a Sr Structural Production Support and Sustaining Engineer to lead the structural design, analysis, testing, and qualification for New Glenn’s second stage and payload accommodations. You will guide manufacturing, sustainment, and mission-integration teams, owning hardware lifecycle from requirements through flight readiness.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering with 8+ years in aerospace structures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware in production and/or service.
• Proficiency in structural design principles for metallic aerospace structures.
• CAD/FEA tools proficiency with a track record of flight hardware delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical owner for structural design and configuration of launch vehicle structures.
• Lead design, analysis, development, and testing of primary/secondary structures for production support and sustainment.
• Own hardware disposition, MRB participation, and corrective actions.
• Drive cross-functional problem resolution across design, manufacturing, test, launch operations, and mission integration.
• Develop and approve 3D models, drawings, assemblies, and interface documents.
• Plan structural tests and document readiness for flight hardware.
