Job summary

IMEG in New York, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to support the analysis, design, and oversight of structural systems for buildings and other structures. You will work with a team of engineers and consultants to deliver reliable engineering solutions and practical outcomes for clients.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, a PE license, and 5–6 years in building design consulting.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license required; 5 years minimum, 6 preferred in building design consulting.
• Strong proficiency in structural design, calculations, and BIM/software tools.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Use engineering software to create designs, calculations, and specifications per code and IMEG standards.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and maintain relationships.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Oversee construction documents and site observations through life cycle.
