Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Raleigh, NC (with Norfolk, VA flexibility) seeks a Structural Project Engineer to lead design on low-to-moderate complexity projects. You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients, and deliver structural solutions while supporting planning and budgeting.

Required: BS in civil/structural Eng, PE license, 2+ years in building design, BIM and structural software proficiency. Travel up to 10%. Full-time, in-office role.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil/structural/architectural eng required.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 2 years in building design consulting; 4+ preferred.
• Experience with BIM and structural analysis/design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for various buildings.
• Develop designs, specs, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Coordinate with clients, gather requirements, and communicate technical info.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Monitor design progress and document decisions.
• Provide in-process reviews and QA per IMEG quality standards.
• Mentor less experienced staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
