Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate cost estimates for building and facility projects worldwide, with project values from $1 million to $2 billion.

The ideal candidate will lead multi-discipline estimating efforts, coordinate discipline estimators, and ensure estimate quality across architectural, structural, and MEP scopes. Some domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years combined estimating/construction experience, field or preconstruction preferred.
• Professional certifications (AACE, RICS, ASPE, PMI, DBIA) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, finishes, foundations, and related components.
• Coordinate input from all estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Prepare estimate execution plans, labor-work plans, and basis of estimate reports.
• Support procurement, change management, and claims negotiations.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure scope alignment and defensible estimates.
