Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for diverse building projects. The role involves coordinating discipline estimators, preparing basis of estimate reports, and supporting procurement and change management.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cost/estimating, construction practice and standards.
• Experience estimating buildings/facilities (commercial, industrial, institutional, etc.).
• Multi-discipline estimating with coordination across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical.
• Advanced understanding of contract methods in estimating.
• Field/turnkey estimating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, finishes and components.
• Coordinate input parameters for estimates and schedules.
• Validate takeoffs and quantities from drawings.
• Lead constructability reviews and risk analyses.
• Interface with management and clients on estimating tasks.
